2019
The first life
It starts in 2019. Antoine, a blockchain obsessive and video editor at Journal du Coin, launches Blockchain Addict. The idea: share his meetings, run interviews, and talk about the people building tomorrow’s economy in the French-speaking world.
2019 is also the year of the hack: Antoine, alone at the helm, weathers the storm with no backup. It is the year he meets Vincent, at Paris Blockchain Week.
2020
The play-to-earn turn
Play-to-earn explodes. Magali, his partner, joins. Together they turn the site into an education desk. Magali, in parallel, becomes editor-in-chief at Journal du Coin.
2023
A new skin
BA returns to first loves: interviews with founders, developers and reference builders. Antoine and Magali are official co-founders. Versus, Vincent, holds the design. Engelbert Leprince joins, then leaves to explore South America.
In 2024, Pierre Vauquelin (DeFi) then Nicolas (mining) join the desk. They have since left Blockchain Addict; their stories stay in the archive.
2026
And now?
More than 120 interviews, more than a hundred videos, more than 700 articles. A house tightened around Antoine and Magali, close to the people who build crypto.
