On Monday 7 September, Capital B, a French company listed on Euronext Growth under ticker ALCPB, said it bought 376 bitcoin for €25.3 million, about $29.4 million. The treasury now holds 3,521 BTC. The Block has the statement: the group’s largest purchase since September 2025, when it took 551 BTC. Last month the same treasury added only 6 BTC. Formerly The Blockchain Group, it rebranded in July 2025 around its bitcoin treasury strategy.
Monday’s lot, per the statement, prints at €67,182 per bitcoin. The whole stack cost €309.4 million, or €87,878 on average. Two figures. Two clocks. We do not mix them. Before the buy the stack stood at 3,145 BTC: the sum checks out.
Where the cash came from
The Block: the buy is funded by recent raises, including a €28.7 million private placement. Adam Back, named as an investor, adds €7.6 million; his ordinary stake rises to 17.64%. 99Bitcoins, on the same statement, details a €1.44 million ATM with TOBAM and total raises of about €30.1 million. CoinLaw adds Maxim Group LLC as placement agent. We stay with published amounts. We do not invent the order book.
The statement, relayed by Alexandre Laizet, also cites a « BTC Yield » of 2.17% year to date and a « BTC Gain » of 61.3 BTC. Those are issuer-defined metrics. They are not a promised return for the reader, nor a reason to buy the stock.

What this says, what it does not
A French bitcoin treasury buys spot, in euros, after diluting capital. This is not an ETF. This is not advice to buy ALCPB. Market bitcoin, on Monday, still sits under $80,000, as we wrote this weekend. Capital B pays below its historical average. Accounting. Not a forecast.
Not held: the exact on-chain timing of the 376. A future yield. That Back « runs » the company. The Block says a stake. We stop there. A corporate wallet is not yours.
- Held: 376 BTC for €25.3m (€67,182/BTC), stack 3,521, cumulative cost €309.4m, average €87,878, Back +€7.6m / 17.64%, largest buy since 551 BTC in Sept. 2025, 6 BTC in August, ALCPB, raises ~€30.1m.
- Not held: a price target, a buy recommendation on ALCPB or bitcoin, a dump, a share-price ATH, that Back runs the firm.
